Report Library

For each Beta software product you have agreed to test, you need a set of report forms. You can complete these forms by printing them, filling them out, and faxing them to us.

General Reports

Installation Status Report
Interval Report
Malfunction Report

Reporting schedule

  • Please complete the Beta Software Installation Status Report and fax it to us as soon as you have done the first installation of the software. If you encountered any installation errors, please also fill in and fax a Malfunction Report.

  • The Beta Software Interval Report and the Software Features Report should be submitted weekly during your test cycle.

    This report helps us to estimate the degree and coverage of your testing. Your complete candor is sincerely required here, both with respect to the amount of use the software has received, and your opinion about its performance and its features.

    Interval reports are not cumulative; you should report only the problems that occurred and observations that you made during the interval covered.

  • When you have problems with the software, please fill in and fax a Beta Software Malfunction Report and include any additional information that is relevant to the problem. This report will initiate a Beta call to the Support Centre, and ensure that Beta reports are handled and recorded consistently. You'll receive a call back from a Customer Support Representative to resolve the problem and determine how your testing should proceed.
